When asked, “how could you help Santa if he was stuck in your chimney?” Ryen answered using her device:

My mom would hellllllp.

Ryen worked with an E.A and used a visual model to type her sentence.

November 7th

“Soldiers.”

Ryen was asked to write about why we remember on Remembrance Day. She chose ‘soldiers’ on a language mat. She copied her word from a model. Ryen was able to find some letters on her own.

My poppy is red.

Ryen wrote her sentence with E.A assistance.  She used a visual to type the words with minimal verbal assistance.

My pumpkin is big.

Ryen copied her sentence from a model. She was able to locate some letters on the keyboard on her own! She needed reminders to use the space bar after each word.
